This iron ore pelletizing machine manufactured by metro is a grate-kiln system that has been developed to provide effective, and reliable quality performance specifically for producing iron pellets at minimal operational costs with enhanced qualities. Its compact, and robust layout is constructed out of durable materials incorporates several temperature zones which produces preheated pellets between 800 to 900°C and goes straight to the rotary kiln.

The rotary kiln is then operated at 1200-1350°C after finishing induration. It is also integrated with a concentrator which grounds the ore into fine sizes as much as 80% - 45 micron powder and is then segregated from impurities via magnetic separation and flotation.
