Description
3 kW to 12 kW immersion heaters include a built-in incoloy pocket with a 20 amp, 5 to 80°C or 30 to 90°C thermostat. To order with an optional high temperature 45 to 120°C 20 amp thermostat add "-HT" to the part number and check price or order using the part number builder below.

The IP55 rated aluminium head is approximately 120 mm diameter and 100 mm high. The brass boss has a 2¼" BSP thread and gasket for fitting in a tank through a suitable boss. An optional brass back nut and gasket is also available for alternative mounting.

To get the best service and optimum stratification it is recommended to mount the heater horizontally at the bottom of the tank. Care should be taken to ensure the elements are immersed at all times and are not allowed to run in sludge, to avoid burning out.
