The Echomax® XRS-5 is an ultrasonic transducer which provides continuous reliable level monitoring of liquids as well as slurries via a narrow lift station, weirs, wet wells , flumes and filter beds by a single beam angle of just 10° as well as a CSM rubber face. The XRS-5 is also non contacting and has a measuring range starting from 0.3 to 8 m (1 to 26 ft). The advanced echo processing also provides reliable data in conditions that have obstructions, foam and turbulence. With its hermetically sealed rubber face along with the PVDF copolymer enclosure, the system is designed for the best resistance to methane, salt water, caustics among other harsh chemicals that is found in waste water installations.
