honing diamond / polishing

The General Hone® features their highly reliable abrasives typically used in a wide variety of industrial applications such as grinding, polishing and honing. They are usually integrated with different grits to provide excellent quality in honing different materials.

These usually include Aluminum Oxide (AO), Silicon Carbide (SC), Cubic Bond Nitride (CBN) and the toughest, the Diamond (D). Each of these grits or minerals have special property that makes them ideal in handling different kinds of materials such as mild steel and iron for AO, cast iron and plastic for SC, ferrous materials for CBN , and exotic materials for diamond.
