The tool setting probe Z-Nano IR is a measuring system with infrared data transmission for fast, precise and automatic tool length measurement and broken tool detection in machining centers. Its rugged mechanical design and the optoelectronic signal generation via an integrated light barrier guarantees highest reliability under roughest conditions.

The tool setting probe is applied when flexible mounting in the machining area is required or in machines with pallet changing devices.
