CNC tool changer / cam / high-speed

COLOMBO FILIPPETTI spa’s high-speed tool changers are designed to enable the transformation of uniform input rotary motion into a specific intermittent sequence, which involves rotary and linear motions of the output shaft, via a cam.

The tool change gripper double-arm makes a synchronized combination of movements in a typical cycle of tool changing. The arm features an automatic safety tool block during the transportation phase. CTM tool magazines can be added to the CUT group of tool changers. The positioning process is precise and repeatable with the CUT series. Additional advantages include easy mounting, high load capacity, reduced maintenance and energy consumption and regular operation at various speeds.
