electro-pneumatic tapping unit

The BEG-48 series is a range of electro-pneumatic units with modular layout. Their electric motor drives the spindle when the feed is pneumatic.

The adjustment of the feed rate to be parallel to the pitch and the rpm, is made possible by the hydraulic feed control. The tapping spindle provides the required length compensation.

The series is available with JT2 taper or integrated ER32 chuck and multi-spindle heads. The units feature smart depth control and an optional linear transducer.

Their power ranges from 250 up to 1200 W while their speed ranges from 270 up to 1900 rpm. Their torque range is between 19.7 to 1.25 Nm.
