A guide sleeve is required for each diameter for clamping the drill bits. The drill bit that is clamped in the hand crank and clamping sleeve is precisely centred by the guide sleeve.
Upon turning the handle the cutting edges of the clamped paper drill bit are sharpened with a widia sharpening blade.
