The chucks of this type are specifically designed for watchmakers lathes. They are particularly suitable for light and precise work with low clamping forces in individual production. The clamping of workpieces is done by turning the clamping ring. No key is needed. There are types with 3, 4 and 6 jaws available.

All types can be delivered with mounting shank for watchmaker lathes:
- Ø 8 mm thread 6.85 x 40 Gg, eg Boley & Leinen.
- Ø 8 mm thread 7 x 40 Gg, Andrae & Zwingenberger Präzima, Saupe & Sohn Limbach Oberfrohna.
