roughing boring head / for finishing / large-diameter

Created for diameters measuring 365 to 2,000mm, these adjustable and modular KOMET TwinKom® double-cutter roughing tools come with a KOMET® ABS-N100 interface. They also feature a fine-tuning inset and a highly rigid large area facing mechanism. A replaceable bridge is included in this tool as are elements required for peeforming fine bore applications. The roughing tools included have a diameter from 365 to 2,000mm.

In relation to the diameter, adjustments can be made at up to 80mm. This system is highly suitable for roughing, preliminary and fine-tuning functions. The complete application range is covered by the presence of a spindle attachment flange, a main body, an attachment flange and a cutting head.
