The unit is a bellow, and is ideal for use in guarding a wide variety of components. The components it can guard includes linear guides, balls screws, cables, pneumatic control cylinders, vertical feed shafts and as well as laser beams. The unit is made of an element that is suitable for protecting components from various objects such as dust, oil, water droplets and cutting liquids. The model has an ambient operating temperature of up to +60 °C.

The model is internally strengthened via guiding frames in each fold that are made of PVC.
