The Type 749-10 RKD is utilized for flexible clamping on production systems and machining centers. It can provide any of three clamping positions - lateral, vertical and horizontal. The clamping system can be manually operated or mechanically using a power transmitter. It can produce about 1 1/2 crank rotations at its maximum clamping force.

The clamping force can be pre-adjusted using the locking system. Two mobile claws (left-right hand thread) and an immobile center jaw provide double-clamping. The guide surfaces and solid steel body are ground and hardened on every side. The vice can only be fastened with clamping claws. A thread is utilized to fasten the angle drive.
