The Model BEX 15 is a machining unit developed by Somex. It is built with high precision turning spindle suitable for speeds up to 18000 RPM. The unit is built with adapter flange for the installation of different spindle heads and angle heads.

It is supplied with 4-point clamping set form C for manual tool clamping, and adapts to UA 30 and UA 35 slide units via the base plates. The standard framework is additionally delivered with 0.55 kW or 0.75 kW, and an optional 1.8 kW.

In addition, all the spindle options are available with coolant via the spindle application. The system can also be optionally equipped with frequency converter, direct drive servomotor, and front motor mounting upon request.
