Polycarbonate honeycomb is a thermoplastic material.

It is manly used as deflector for laminar-flow ventilation or air diffuser, in commercial refrigeration, ventilating systems, sterilized rooms, wind tunnels and climatic chambers.

The application of polycarbonate honeycomb does not only eliminate turbulences in air diffusers and other ventilating tools, but it also reduces impurity and humidity, as well as noise and energy consumption.

In fact, the uniform crushing of the cells absorbs kinetic energy at a constant compressive load until a 78% reduction of its initial volume. We supply special densities, according to the level of energy absorption required by the costumer.



Polycarbonate with inferior density is used for lightweight and transpiring structures.
