The warp wire and the weft wire cross two above and two below and tend to form angles different from 90° with a particular aesthetic effect, it allows the mesh opening to be reduced further, with the same diameter wire.
This type of weaving leads to internal tension and consequent instability. In some cases, it is possible to delate this kind of tension, making a variant of Crossed weave wire mesh, called twilled wire mesh.
Crossed weaved wire mesh are basic components in the production of filters, colanders for aliments, chemicals products, shielding, mosquito nets, scenographies...
