With PERLUCOR, the possibilities are endless. The most common tile size is 90 x 90 mm but Ceramtec is able to go beyond that and produce specific contours based on customer demands from this blueprint. Furthermore, the thickness of the panel is user configurable up to a tenth of a millimeter and is typically between 2-10 mm, but thinner panels can also be produced. Typical tiles can be blended into multi tile composites to make expansive surfaces.

The tips are created by utilizing a technique exclusively developed by Ceramtec. Adding to this, PERLUGLUE technology makes it possible to produce a perfectly adapted optical surface, where the joints and the abutting tips are not present or invisible. This implies that PERLUCOR can also be used to manufacture substantially big inspection windows.
