The Eppendorf FemtoJet® 4i and FemtoJet® 4x are electronic microinjectors designed for the injection of small to intermediate volumes. These devices are ideal for these applications because of their broad functionality and simple operation.
The FemtoJet 4i has a built-in compressor that makes it ideal for injecting aqueous solutions into suspension cells and adherent cells.
The FemtoJet 4x is built for heavy duty applications, such as injecting volumes higher than 100 pl or injection of longer series at higher pressures. It requires a separately fitted external pressure supply that provides continuous and precise pressure. The FemtoJet 4x is a thus designed for demanding applications. Both these systems have identical construction and compatibility features for integration with both Eppendorf and non-Eppendorf micromanipulation systems.
