The SKF LGEP 2 has a mineral oil base composition with lithium soap thickeners, and has extreme pressure additives to provide superior extreme pressure performance. Its operating temperature range is –20 to +110 °C (–5 to +230 °F). The LGEP 2 features exceptional mechanical stability and inhibits corrosion extremely well.

This bearing grease is suitable for high load, extreme pressure applications such as in pulp and paper making machines, jaw crushers, dam gates, work roll bearings, heavy machinery, vibrating screens, crane wheels, sheaves, traction motors for rail vehicles, etc.
