Description
The knitted Tenack sleeves are made by weaving the AISI 316 L stainless steel yarns into a tubular meshwork so as to make them particularly elastic and, therefore, the ideal solution for covering purposes. They can also be made by weaving the steel yarns with aramidic fibre (Tenack Green Iron sleeve) leading to a reduction in cost. The steel-aramidic combination gives the sleeve a grey-yellow colour. The AISI 316 L stainless steel makes the sleeve particularly resistant to high temperatures and prevents thermal shocks in the production of glass items.

Applications
Covering of transport cylinders in the flat glass industry (for this specific use, the sleeves prevent the glass from coming into contact with the rollers). Covering of flexible hoses used under hot temperatures. Expansion joints.
