Timken's Food Safe Grease is built for food processing applications. It is an NLGI No. 2 aluminum-thickened lubricating grease equipped with extra pressure, and is resistant to wearing, corrosion and oxidation. Unlike other greases in the market, it delivers a better and more reliable performance even in different and extreme temperatures.

Food Safe Grease complies with the CFR, Title 21, Section 178.3570 and answers to the NSF H1 (formerly USDA H1) lubricant and Canadian Food Inspection Agency where there is possible food contact. It can handle temperatures from -40°C to 149°C (-40°F to 300°F), making it suitable for many application options in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical field.
