The metal separator is mounted immediately in front of the material in-feed and its highly sensitive sensor responds to every piece of metal - whether it is steel, brass or aluminium - and ejects it very rapidly. It is thus impossible for metals to enter the screw via this route and cause a loss of production.

Thanks to a special ejection technique, large or long parts can also be removed without any problems as well as small parts up to 1mm in diameter.
