The Short Stroke Modules LDK by SCHUNK are prepared with absolute encoders by default that gives the best repeat accuracy of 0.01 mm per axis with a static profile and a moving slide. It can be used horizontally or vertically, the linear directly driven LDK short stroke module from SCHUNK sets the standards. The modules are equipped with long slides, mechanic support for a higher rigidity, and with a brake for the use as a Z-axis. Moreover, the highest nominal stroke amounts to 400 mm, the highest drive force 250 N, and the nominal force 100 N. If compared with the predecessor module it has a 15% higher nominal force at an identical size.
