The TTHD heavy duty bearings from Timken, consisting of a set of rollers, a cage and two thrust races, has 40 % more capacity than spherical and cylindrical bearings with the same envelope dimensions thanks to the design. A benefit named true rolling machine is achieved by the configuration of the TTHD bearings which converge the extensions of the raceways and rollers at a common point called the apex on the axis of rotation. Because of this, true rolling motion cuts off the heat generation and wear on the rollers and races. Available in size ranges of from 34.925 mm to 1352.550 mm for ID and from 76.200 mm to 1524.000 mm, one can easily buy the appropriate bearing specific to the purpose. Durability is also taken care of, with the bearings made from premium quality case carburized bearing steel and core resistant to cracks to increase the service life. Furthermore, the high quality materials add up to the high shock resistant in heavy load applications.
