The Thrust Ball Bearing Products from NSK are manufactured out of a bearing ring with a "washer-like" design, as well as some ball grooves which resemble "raceways". They are developed to be able to operate at extreme velocities, while being able to withstand thrust loads (such as axial loads; radial loads, however, are an exception). These bearings are ideal for flat seats, or for simply aligning them (this is totally dependent on the shape of the exterior ring seat).

These Thrust Ball Bearing Products (from NSK) come in two different classifications: the standard design, and the dual-directional class. The classic version's overall design includes dual rings (called the single-ball and cage assembly, and the shaft and housing washers), while the dual-direction design, on the other hand contains dual-ball and cage constructions and triple washers.
