Timken SAF pillow blocks are intended for demanding industrial applications such as conveyors, mining, pulp, paper and rolling mills. These models are available with two housing variants, cast-iron and cast-steel and are equipped with high capacity spherical roller bearings with improved geometry and raceway finish for outstanding load capacity and operating life. The SAF pillow blocks are very easy to assemble or disassemble as they feature a split-housing design in addition to pry tool slots and the exclusive Pry-Lug fulcrum for easy inspection and maintenance. They have multiple sealing options and excellent lubrication features due to the integrated housing and bearing design in addition to the easily removed caps to prevent housing or bearing damage. These units are manufactured in two main versions SAF and SDAF and sizes 1.37795 to 11.811 in. with shafts up to 39.37 in. and above.
