The Hydroswage® Heat Exchanger Tube Expansion Equipment applies high interval hydraulic pressure within a tube. This is done to form a tight joint between the tube and the tube sheet. The pressure is configured, repeated, and controlled.

The machine uses an intensifier to achieve swage pressure. The intensifier’s dampening effect leads to smooth, uniform pressure curves for every expansion cycle. It also has a valve which detects when the pressure reaches 95% of the setting. When this happens, the swage timer is triggered.
