The RCQ2-434 is a smart radio modem manufactured by Radio Controlli. It features a low cost serial data communications link, which can be utilized for various applications involving data communications.

The modem works in the ISM 434 MHz band. It provides ease of operation, and offers a wireless RS232 link. The link has an RF data rate that goes approximately up to 100 kbps.

The transceivers consist of a complete radio modem, that only requires CMOS/TTL data at the transmit input and other transceivers. The preamble and CRC are integrated with the RF transmission.
