Motorized head and auto change rack controllers take instructions from the CMM control. The unit controls all functions of the head and then reports the status of the system to the CMM. The PHC10-2 will not process probe or sensor signals.
Errors are flagged such as obstructions before or after locking, failure to reach position in drivers PH10, PH10T, PH10M, PH10MQ, and these are either delivered from the HCU1 or CMM. Sensor Signals are railed clean through heads of axes and controllers to the probe interface.
