The SHTC1 - Digital Humidity Sensor is based on the CMOSens® technology and has set new benchmarks in terms of size, power consumed, volume of production and cost even. At a size of 2 x 2 x 0.8 mm, this is the smallest sensor of its kind. Its sensor and signal processing circuitry is embedded on a single silicon chip.

Some of the features included in the sensor include an I²C interface and low power consumption. The operating voltage is 1.8 V and that is as per industry requirements. The response time is 8s (tau63%) and the measuring range (RH) is 0 - 100% relative humidity while the measuring range (T) is -30 - 100°C. A minimum order of of 1,000 pieces are recommended through high volume production for best results.
