Sitrans is an interface transmitter developed by Siemens. This is a device that is designed to cater to the requirements of pressure conditions that are critical and extreme. It is used along with LNG, oil and also with vapors and chemicals that are aggressive and toxic. This device can provide calibration in push button and one step. There is local display associated with the device for easy setup and installation. The device is unique because of its mechanical probe design along with a high-performance transmitter with superior performance in adhesives, caustics, acids, aggressive chemicals and both conductive and non conductive materials that have good viscosity. This is a device that has HART® communications for inspection and remote commissioning.
