Radar level transmitter named SITRANS from Siemens is useful for monitoring solids inside storage vessels in a continuous manner. This device is designed for conditions with higher temperature and extreme amount of dust. This device has LUI which is graphically advanced and capable of improving operation and also setup using a wizard with quicker start. It is even equipped with echo profile for providing diagnostic support. Startup can be done easily with the help of quick - start wizard that has only fewer number of parameters available for basic operations. It also comes with a unique design for allowing simple and safe programming using a programmer that can held by hand and safe. There is no need for opening the lid of the device for performing the programming. This device helps in measuring the solid materials virtually and ranges to about 30 m.
