SITRANS LVL100, a compact vibrating level switch is just perfect for liquid applications like overflow, high, low and demand applications and pump protection. Its small size makes it perfect for confined spaces, especially while working in all areas of process technology in industrial uses. The insertion length of 40 mm (1.57) helps LVL100 to be mounted in small pipes and within space constraints. An advantage of the device is that it doesn't get affected by physical and chemical properties of liquids. Its features and construction makes it just ideal for turbulence, air bubbles, foam generation, buildup, or strong external vibration. The piezoelectrically energized tuning fork vibrates at the mechanical resonance frequency of about 1200 Hz. A change in vibration frequency occurs when you cover the tuning fork with a medium.
