SIKA Turbine flow sensor Type VTY 10 MS-30 are specifically designed for potable water applications. The unit is loaded with features like various fitting positions facility, independent from flow straighteners, insensitive against water hammers, wide measuring span of 1:30, sapphire-supported turbine for long durability etc.

The turbine body is made of brass or glass-fibre reinforced plastic and the turbine internals are made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic. The unit is WRAS approved and offers a measuring range of 1 to 30l/min. The unit houses a nominal diameter of DN 10, pressure rating of PN 10, G½ male type process connection and pulse rate of 495 pulses/l. It also promises an accuracy of ±0.3 l/min.

It uses a power supply of 4.5 to 24 VDC and operates under a temperature range of 0 to 70 °C. The extremely hard bearing materials like sapphire and tungsten carbide guarantee a long service life. The unit is used in applications areas including in-house potable water supply, agriculture, food industry etc.
