The SITRON V-Tork Series turning forks contain a piezo-electric crystal, offering switch vibration, on a fixed resonant frequency. The frequency changes in case the fork is submerged, via unit’s electronics and is converted into a switch output, either relay (SPDT) or PNP/NPN (depending on the model). The contact is indicated by the blinking red LED. The continuous light indicates no contact, and that the V-Tork is working. These forks are made out of 316 stainless steel, with either Halar or epoxy coatings. Also, they are available with hygienic fitting for sanitary applications. They can operate on temperatures up to 80 ºC (176 ºF) by standard, or up to 120 ºC (248 ºF) in some models. Time delay is adjustable on 1, 5, 10 or 20 seconds. Also, Wet/Dry selection is available, for both high and low level application requirements.
