This V-Tork series is a line of level switch tuning forks manufactured by Sitron. These instruments are equipped with piezo-electric crystals, which allow the switch to vibrate at a fixed pre-defined frequency. The frequency of these tools change when submerged in a medium, and can be detected by unit electronics.

The red LED placed in the housing blinks when the tuning forks are in contact with a product. This LED remains lighted even without contact to any product, which also indicates that the device is working properly. The series is made out of 316 stainless steel, with Halar or epoxy coatings and hygienic fittings for sanitary operations.

Versions of this series is available with operating temperature up to 80ºC or 120ºC.
