WEKA VLIs come with magnetic switches which add functionality to VLIs. They are installed at the rear of the float chamber and actuated by the rear field of the bar magnet in the float. These switches being bistable can be latched in one state (open or closed) on the first pass of the float’s bar magnet, and reset to the original state on the second (reverse) pass.
They are available as both on-off (SPST) or changeover (SPDT) types and can be connected directly to inputs of PLCs or computer-based systems, or through contactors in valves or pumps. They are housed in stainless steel and can be used in any type of environment with media temperatures up to +350 °C.
