Most vacuum pumps are not made to handle operations dealing non-porous loads. When this happens, the vacuum pump becomes "dead-head". However, the Vacuum Relief Valves created by Anver are engineered to specifically prevent damage of vacuum pumps as a result of such situations.

The Anver Vacuum Relief Valves opens and permits air into the pump at a predetermined vacuum level. The small quantity of air decreases the temperature level in the pumps. These vacuum relief valves can be mounted and used to provide additional security for the pumps.
