Type 92B Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) is an accurate and simple valve which is easy to maintain as it is diaphragm actuated. This is a self-powered control valve which has an inlet stream (upstream) to operate the pilot. Its inlet pressures are rated to 316°C/300 psig/20,7 bar at 600°F.
As the standard steam valve used for the industry, Type 92B is able to provide stable and accurate pressure control while withstanding dirty operating environments. This main pressure reducing valve is used in industrial heating applications such as reactors, digesters, heat exchangers and evaporators, being designed specifically to last for decades.
