The ULFC is manufactured by New-flow, and is a top electric connection-type mass flow controller that does not have an LCD display. The unit has an input power of 24 V DC as a standard, but there is an option to use a generator with a supply of 15 VDC, 115 V AC, and 220 V AC at 500 mA.

The components of the unit that are subjected to wetting are made of 316-grade stainless steel, and there are components available made of Tapcon. The ULFC has an utmost pressure capacity of up to 500 psig with 316-grade stainless steel, and up to 250 psig with Tapcon.
