The Seaboard™ model 1540S gate valve feature a one-piece slab gate with floating seats that exert line pressure to close seals.
The Seaboard™ model 1540S gate valve offers a forged body, bi-directional slab gate, pressure balancing stem, metal-to-metal sealing technology and stem back-seating capability. The chemically inert stem packing uses spring energizing rings that require no adjustment or plastic injection.

This valve suits most types of oil and gas service and is recommended for pressures up to 20,000 psi. Flanged-end configurations are available in standard bore sizes.
