Diprotex's electroplated wire is suitable for use in sawing applications. It was specifically designed for sawing various materials, such as sapphire (LED), silicon carbide (LED), ceramics, and silicon.

The unit is equipped with a basic single or multi-layer diamond bonding to the tool surface, done by means of a nickel matrix.
