The JEL® is the Komet’s thread milling cutter that is made for various thread lengths with a single tool as it contains face and shank side chamfer. Its diameter ranges from 4.0 to 16.0 mm and it is applicable for thread lengths 2xD and 2.5xD.

It offers a tool for various tolerances and a similar tool for various diameters which is less than the nominal range along with the same pitch. It is recommended for blinds and through holes and for machining various materials with a single tool.

As it goes through the milling process, there won’t be chip root remains in the thread. The stepped drill, if need be, can be replaced by a standard twist drill.
