The Prototyp Paradur® Eco Plus and Prototex® Eco Plus tap series are optimized for both short-chipping and long-chipping applications and for materials with about 1,300 N/mm² of tensile strength. These HSS-E-PM taps are specially designed for general and an all-around performance, which can handle a wide range of machining materials.

The taps are coated with THL hard material and other surface treatments for maximum service life without cold welding. Its chip management capacity allows for operating consistency in through hole and blind threads. Models are available with axial and radial coolant for reduced lubrication.
