Micro-Epsilon's IDS 8100.C is suitable for use in non-contact inspection of extruder bores. It precisely detects the diameter case of the extruder bores.

The device can be used with all metals, without requiring calibration. It offers a non-contact operation in guarding the machine from wear, caused by abrasive raw material, temperature and pressure. The unit is equipped with a touchscreen controller, and parts that can be replaced when defective.
