Mitutoyo QuantuMike is the next generation micrometer which has been made using sophisticated pioneering technology. This technology is the most innovative advancement in micrometer since its invention by James Watt.

QuantuMike prevents accidental movement of the origin point during measurement with its function lock feature.

High repeatability of measurements is ensured by the patented ratchet thimble mechanism* which ensures microvibrations are transmitted to the contact face along the spindle. This results in a constant force of measurement and an improved contact with the workpiece. The patent is registered in Japan, USA, China, Germany, UK and France.

The ratchet can also be used easily during one-handed measurements as it works both from the thimble and the speeder. The user is provided with confidence by the ratchet sound. The rapid spindle feed necessary for measurement of very different dimensions is enabled by the speeder. The use of a coarser thread improves measurement speed. The spindle is fed by 2mm per revolution of the thimble by this thread.
