The Magnetic Hump Separators, manufactured by Eriez® can eliminate contamination against ferrous from materials falling under gravity or transferred pneumatic lines effectively. Its manual clean model is now accessible to give a smooth and speedy cleaning using the quick release clamp or the self cleaning model that comes with a push button that functions as a chute for diverter before the swinging of the air magnet away from the chute. In addition, when the material entered the hump, using the Eriez plate magnet it forcefully changes the material direction then again the direction changes when the material slows down and it crosses over the second plate magnet. Its 'dog-leg' design has the advantage of increasing the probability of capturing ferrous metal because heavy metals can work their way through the magnet.
