The DMU 40 eVo/linear has an advanced Gantry design, excellent accessibility, high rigidity and small space requirement. Its NC swivel rotary table has high rapid traverse speeds at 60 rpm in the B and C axis and a loading capacity of 250 kg. It is capable of simultaneous 5-axes and 5-sided machining. The dynamic version equipped with linear drives in the X and Y axis provides higher precision and power with high rapid traverse speed of 80 m/min maximum. The robust motor spindles have 14,000 rpm, 18,000 rpm and 24,000 rpm. It is equipped with a tool magazine with 30 pockets and a double gripper for quick and easy tool changes. It is also equipped with 3D drive technology with DMG ERGOline Contral available with the Siemens 840D solution line or Heidenhain iTNC 530.
