The KOEPFER K 160 is a machine that is mainly used for gear cutting. It is constructed with the generation of 8-axis control system which enables work spindle speeds. Its base is made of MINERALIT® polymer concrete featuring a slant bed design which is integrated with coolant removal system. All of its through puts and indolent times are controlled by its cutting speeds.

The machine has a maximum workpiece diameter of 90 / 140 mm and a maximum workpiece length of 300 / 1000 mm. Its main spindle speed is 4000 rpm and its hob speed is 5000 rpm.
