The VDL 800 utilizes a large headstock, and a heavy machine bed. These components provides high rigidity during heavy-duty machining. The unit is designed with a flat headstock, for the smooth machine unloading.

The equipment is designed with an automatic feed on both X, and W axis. It is integrated with a face plate chuck, to ensure a clamping diameter of 800 mm. Also, the machine is integrated with a main spindle drive, which has a 7.5 kW motor and 2 step gears.

In addition, the product's design provides easy accessibility, by means of crane and forklift.
