EDM
The Microfor HP4 EDM is used for micro-machining any conductive material. It can achieve a hole diameter from 50 µm to 1.8 mm (0.002 to 0.07 inch) and a reverse taper up to 150 µm/mm. It does this without leaving any burrs, material deposits or micro-cracks. It achieves an exceptional surface texture of Ra< 1 µm.
It incorporates SARIX µ-EDM technology which is based on the electro-erosion principle and enables high quality and efficient machining to occur. This meets the requirements of mass production.
An advanced electrode guiding system is incorporated which accurately feeds the smallest electrode to be found on the market. Industrial solutions to meet individual needs are provided by Microflor technology. Specific devices and solutions are designed, manufactured and integrated by Posalux for software, clamping devices, user interface options, automatic loading/unloading, and technology support (µ-EDM parameters). It can also be supplied with conventional high-speed drilling spindles.
